Characteristics:  Ground cover. Evergreen. Delicate purple blooms contrast with fragrant silvery or grey foliage. Native only to coastal and southern Texas and adjacent Mexico. In sandy soil can blanket an area in its velvety white leaves.

Planting / Care: Grows best in sand. Deer resistant. Salt tolerant. Nice cascading plant for containers. Low water requirement. Poisonous to livestock.
